Hiking the Trails in Big Canoe

Big Canoe is known for its miles of lush woodland trails and many beautiful parks. Over twenty miles of trails are available for all ages. Go for brisk morning’s walkand enjoy nature at its best. Information Kiosks and trail heads are located at six major parks and at Waterford Lakes.

Choctaw . . . A 1.3 mile trail accessed at the end of Sinti Trail.
Nature Valley . . . Trails to picturesque Lower Falls and Upper Falls, old-time cabin, the Jeep trail.
Indian Rocks . . . Hiking trails near Lake Petit and to the mysterious Indian rock mounds.
Playfield . . . Our "ball field" with playgrounds for children, a running/walking track, and trails to Petit Crest Villas..
McDaniel Meadows . . . Network of gravel and paved trails, plus Big Canoe's well-maintained dog park.  
Meditation Park . . . Scout Hut, the unique Terraces amphitheater, old-time cabin and hiking trails.
Waterford Lakes . . . Trails wind around scenic Blackwell Springs Lake and Toad's Pond.
Wildcat Park . . . Paved trails, ball field and recreation areas, playgrounds designed for children.
